The company is based in Přerov, Czech Republic.

OriginPohony was established in 1994 by a merger of Převodovky and Spojky, the plants of the former joint stock company PSP Přerovské strojírny.

Přerov is a city in the Olomouc Region, 293 km from Prague, the Capital of Czech Republic.
Přerov is an important railway junction in the middle of Moravia, with local airport, easy to reach from the D1 highway.
